Conquer Your Fears: Join our Intro to Pole Four Week Series!

Updated: Aug 29

Upon seeing the advertisement or a video shared by your friend of a pole dancing class, you may have thought to yourself, "Hmm, maybe I could do that." However, you hesitated from attending the class. At this point, self-doubt often creeps in, with thoughts like "I can't" or "I'm not strong enough" taking over. It's important to realize that everyone who starts pole dancing begins with no experience whatsoever. Even your favorite pole dancer once struggled to climb or perform basic pole tricks. But you know what they did? They started, they practiced, and with each practice session, they saw progress. They never allowed themselves to believe they couldn't do it. As a result, they now inspire others, like you, to embark on this transformative journey in the world of pole dancing.

One common misconception at the start of many pole journeys is the belief that failing to master a pole move on the first day means it's too difficult or makes one appear "silly." Relax! Pole dancing is often referred to as "Spicy Gymnastics." In any beginner acrobatics class, guidance is essential as you are new to these movements. Remember, even your muscles are unfamiliar with these actions. Your body requires training and time to adapt to specific movements before successfully executing a move.

Remember, your pole journey is unique to you. It's common to feel disheartened when you struggle with a move that others have mastered. However, it's important to realize that everyone's journey is different. Each body is unique. If it takes 100 introductory pole classes for you to see progress, then go for it. No one will judge you, and we are here to support your development. Consider enrolling in the Intro to Pole Series to grasp the fundamentals of pole dancing. This will help you discover your preferred style, whether it's dynamic pole or exotic pole. By not taking this opportunity, you might miss out on a chance to cultivate self-love within the pole community.
